The way we share our story can make all the difference…

FAQ’s about the new brand

When will I start seeing the new brand?

Over time the new brand will start being shared with updated websites, and digitally through partner social media sites. When new materials need to be replaced or created, you will see the new brand being replaced where the previous logo and branding was used.

Why will the Chamber, City, Visit Owatonna, Main Street and Economic Development Partners have similar branding?

While these entities all operate independently, they also serve a unified vision and purpose. A cohesive brand between these entities exemplifies to others that we work together to go the extra mile.

How can I get involved?

Several organized groups will begin promoting the new brand, and bring others along in the journey. Whether an organization, a business, or one of our local branding vendors or brand ambassadors, we see this as a community effort and look forward to partnering with those who want to get involved.

What is a brand ambassador?

Our brand ambassadors are invested and active in our local community. They have adopted the vision of our new brand, and are helping to spread the word in Owatonna and beyond. To help be an ambassador, contact the Chamber of Commerce for more information: 507-451-7970.

Is this process expensive?

This is a common question. The process of implementing the new brand will happen over time. As existing signage, vehicles, print materials, and other items that contain the brand need to be replaced, we will utilize the new strategic messaging and branding to do so. This will happen over time where we are already promoting our city and our community.

Is this an advertisement campaign?

No. While the new brand may be used in a variety of areas to advertise Owatonna as a great place to live and do business, this effort is not an ad campaign. This initiative is about projecting cohesiveness and continuity to everyone that our community works together to go the extra mile.
